I scheduled service for my Mother's gas logs as a Christmas gift for her and was promised service before Christmas.
Bought the largest most expensive fireplace insert available from these guys for my 1,700 sq ft home. Stove is rated to heat 2,400 sq ft. Doesnt come even close. Anytime outside temp drops below 45 I have to use my furnace.. Pitiful. Tried working with them to find solutions, and wasnt the greatest customer service experience. Took 2 1/2 years of trying to get them to do something before I just gave up. Lots of empty promises, we'll do this, we'll show up next week.. never happens. Bad customer service. If you need anything, the only option is go stand in front of them at their store.
Bought 2 tons of pellet fuel, the people there are fun to deal with.
Long review, but i want to be clear on both positive and negative because its only one person in my experience but i have not tried to schedule repair or maintenance. I've been here about 5 times in 2 years because we were shopping for a home and as houses and options came and went, we would go up and do more research. I was clear that i was researching and they could focus on other customers. The shop is very nice with a great selection of stoves and inserts, but no coal inserts, they are pretty rare though so most shops don't have them. I was going to hire them at least for an inspection for the house we're finally buying, but not with these reviews. My ONLY personal negative experience with them is the one salesman , he is extremely aggressive and so LOUD!! its impossible to have a discussion even fifteen feet away and if you're unlucky enough to get him as your salesperson, he will literally be yelling at you the whole time and dont even THINK of consulting or talking to your spouse even for a second because he will interrupt you, talk over you, and not give you a chance to discuss ANY thing. Any cashier, waitress, bartender, sales associate, etc in the world, on their second day on the job, can almost immediately tell if im frustrated, unhappy, or not satisfied by my body language even when im still using polite language but this guy was oblivious. After about 6 attempts at speaking to my girl in under 5 minutes and being interrupted and talked over in disbelief, i finally had to be a jerk and firmly ask him if i could PLEASE have a minute to discuss options with my fiancee. The other guys have all treated me well but in a world full of common rudeness, this dude is next level ignorant.
